Walkthrough

- 2.Make sure you are connected to the Arbitrum network. Connect by selecting the Arbitrum network from Change Network option next to your wallet button
- 3.Once connected, you can see all Dopex offerings in the top Menu ranging from Portfolio to Trade
- 4.Head on over to the Insured Preps page by clicking on the Trade menu and then Insured Preps from the sub-menu
- 5.You are now on the Dopex Insured Preps page.
- 6.Let’s take a look at the information displayed

- 1.On top of the graph we have the spot price of the token pair along with changes in the last 24 hours like the highest price, lowest price and change percentage.
- 2.Chart: A candlestick chart is displayed to describe token price movements which can be selected by 1 day or various hours. Each candlestick represents open and close in the candle’s thick body; high and low in the candle wick.
- 8.The section below the chart displays your Insured Positions with information like Position type, and position size. It also displays spot, entry and liquidation prices.
Create a Long Position
- 1.Make sure your wallet is connected and Arbitrum network is selected
- 2.On the right side of the insured prep page, select the long tab. It will display a section to deposit for a long position
- 3.Enter the amount of USDC you feel comfortable with and slide-select the Leverage.
- 4.This will create a Future position and a Put option
- 5.Based on your selection, position details will be displayed in the “Futures Positions”
- 6.Put Option calculations based on your Position will be displayed in section just below Future Positions
- 7.Review the Future Position, Put Option, and Fee. If satisfied, hit the Long button and Accept the transaction in your wallet. If you are making the deposit for the first time - you will be asked to approve the token before you can make the deposit. Both Approve and Deposit actions need gas for the transaction.
Exit Position
- 1.Make sure your wallet is connected and Arbitrum network is selected
- 2.Scroll to the bottom to the Insured Position section to the position for which you what to exit your position
- 3.Click on the “Exit Position” button below the Manage title and Accept the transaction in your wallet.
